Song Hayoung

Song Hayoung^[1] (born 25 August 1994) is a software developer with about 4 years of experience. He worked at two e-commerce companies in Seoul, South Korea: Cafe24 and Infogreen. There, he developed backend services with Node.js and operated cloud infrastructure on Kubernetes. Through observability, he enjoys surfacing problems no one knew existed. In his view, small problems should be fixed while they are still small, before they grow into incidents.

In March 2025, he traveled to Barcelona to run a marathon, where he met his future wife. He currently lives in Mataró^[2], Spain with his wife. Together, they are training for a 2027 marathon.
